Vallobera Pago Malarina. Red wine with 6 months in oak barrels
VINIFICATION 100 % Tempranillo. The harvest took place during the first half of October when the controls of maturation indicated to us the correct moment. Elaborated with destalked grapes and a fermentation which lasts up to 21 days. There are 3 rackings a day until half way through the fermentation, thereafter there are 2. The wine underwent the malolactic fermentation and was aged in American oak barrels for 6 months. After a months ageingin the bottle the tannins are smoother.

TASTING Cherry red colour with purple notes. On the nose the fruit is mature, red compote fruit with hints of liquorice. On the palate is it well balanced, balanced acidity and noble tannins. The integration of the wood is optimal. Very large finish.

RECOMMENDED Great pair with grilled white fish and grilled lamb chops.
