Terran de Vallobera. A uniquely made Red wine
VINIFICATION A recent challenge for Javier San Pedro Ortega. A sensational opera prima made with 100% Tempranillo. The winemaking process starts with green pruning, selecting and marking the vines with an impressive production. The clusters are thinned and subsequently tipped in veraison, leaving the first two whole and only the shoulders of the rest. Made in 3500 kg French oak vats. Pre-fermentation cold maceration for 3 days at 9-10ºC with long pump overs. On the 4th day, fermentation begins at a controlled temperature (20-23ºC) for 15 days in order to preserve the primary aromas. Following this process, it is macerated for 6 days and the cap is soaked on a daily basis. Aged in French oak barrels for 15 months. Best served at: 18-19º.

TASTING A deep cherry-red colour with a very intense bottom note. On the nose, it is also very intense with a predominance of black fruit and fine spicy wood. It is strong, elegant, balanced, fleshy and very fruity on the palate, where very ripe fruit nuances and the wood's complexity stand out.
